Ok so i recently updated to minecraft 1.4.4 and now a majority of the sounds are missing, the only thing i can hear is animals, but there are no walking sounds, no block breaking sounds, and no damage sounds, also no item sounds or anything! please if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know (Side Note: already went into %appdata% .minecraft and deleated the bin folder and let it reinstall and still no sound)

But there could also be a problem with bit rate lag.

Have no noticed any skipping?

This happens often, just loop every file through a re-encoder such as FooBar2000.

if i find a solution i will tell u guys

Make sure you are connected to the internet, and your mixer is set to have minecraft sound, then wait around in a singleplayer game for about 5min
