Ok so i just updated to 1.4.4 and i can no longer open a LAN server and it wont let me and my brother play together. And please dont reply with you gotta be on the same internet to open a LAN. Guys , i know this , im not an idiot. Me and my brother are in the same exaclt house with same internet. When either of us try to open a LAN server is says Server opened to 0.0.0.0 that being the ip i assume. And it use to say our network ip. Now its just zero's. So if anyone is having same problems then please let me know or tell me how i can fix it.

Go to your router's interface. It will have a section called something like "Attached Devices" which will have a list on all computers on your LAN and their ip addresses. Note the ip address of the computer hosting the LAN and enter that as a Multi-player server in your Minecraft. You will also need to put in the number after the colon in the 0.0.0.0:xxxx ip that you see under the LAN game in the servers screen.

Try the 1.4.5 prerelease, it solves the LAN server problems when you are playing 1.4.4.
