so this is what happends:
i go on minecraft, i play for like five- ten minutes, then it lags and goes really slow, its never crashed, (because i exit before it can) but i go back on it right after exiting, and it's still laging, but if i wait like 10 to 20 minutes, i can get back on minecraft, but then 10 minutes later it lags again and i have the same problem.
What i Thought could fix it:
at first i thought the render distance in game has to far, so i switched it from normal to short, i still had this same problem.
After that i thought it could be because of my java, so i went and got 64 bit java, i still had the same problem.
My computer and Minecraft:
I have Window 7 and a HP hard drive. i just got minecraft 1.4.2, but i had this problem with 1.3.2 too. i recently wiped (also known as a destructive restore) my computer due to viruses, and minecraft (both 1.3.2 and 1.4.2) worked fine before i wiped it, but now its glitching like crazy. I dont think this matters, but i use a Xbox paddle for my computer, it is run by a program called Xpadder, but i had the problem before i used the paddle.

How much RAM do you have? It sounds to me like your running out of memory, try letting it crash and see if it says it ran out of memory.

How much RAM do you have? It sounds to me like your running out of memory, try letting it crash and see if it says it ran out of memory.
okay, I just tryed that, i've been on minecraft for about 5 mintute when its lagging and no crash report of anykind.
