So, I accidentally messed up a mod, and I looked on the forums to find out how to fix that. It said that if you delete the .bin folder, you can restart Minecraft, force update and it will redownload it. Now, I deleted the .bin folder, and it didnt come back. My Minecraft still plays when I pull it up, but the .bin folder isnt there. Anyone know how to retreive it?
I also heard I could just delete Minecraft as a whole and redownload, but idk if thatd be the easiest option or what.
Well, if minecraft is playing there is a bin folder somewhere.
And yes you can delete the entire .minecraft folder, you should back up the saves folder from inside it first if you have any worlds you'd like to return to.
