Problem with left mouse click

I am new to minecraft, and every time I left click to try to dig, I get a command bar at the bottom of my screen (PC) - and I'm unable to dig - any ideas how to get it off?? It's driving me crazy. Thanks!

That's so true or try doing force update. if neither of these work, delete and download minecraft again.
