So, I was trying to make an adventure map, and there was a part where I decided I was gonna need dialog. I got a command block.(WIth INVedit) I typed in '@a say: test), and got an error, 'You msut be in creative mode and an op.' I am in creative mode, and I own the world... IS there a way to op yourself in singleplayer? A mod, or hacking into the player.dat?

I am also having this problem

well command blocks are ment for multiplayer. The say command is not a command supported by vinalla and that is why you are getting this error. If you were on an actual server, you would need op.

Do you have cheats on?

Command blocks DO work in SP, look up Hypixel's Herobine mansion map thingy. And I had this map before the cheats update, but can I connect to LAN server thingy, and turn it onto cheats?

hit esc, click open to LAN, allow cheats on. Problem solved!
