Recently, my main computer started having issues connecting to the internet, so I've started the process of migrating to my netbook. The netbook is currently running Fedora 17. I have been trying to get MInecraft to work on there for about a week now, with no results. I've dug through the support forums here, among other places, and have found one solution telling me to export LD_LIBRARY_PATH.... The path they tell me to export to, "/usr/java/jdk1.7.0_09/lib/amd64", doesn't seem to be on my computer. I honestly never mess with Java, being an avid fan of C++, so I don't really know the 'layout' of anything inside of it.
Possibly useful information:
- 32bit Java
- Not OpenJDK; none of the mirrors that yum tries work.
- Intel-based system.
Thanks in advance.
Also, I would like to apologize now if none of the information I've given is useful. Completely new to both Linux and Java.
[Edit] I tried launching through the Technic Launcher, same problem, the screen is grey instead of black; though.
