Minecraft Forums

I don't know why, but Minecraft slows down my internet. Meaning: I can run Skype, download files, and watch youtube videos, and all have these running at very fast speeds. BUT, the second I open minecraft, all my services slow waaaay down and I cannot play minecraft online. The weird thing is, this even happens to me when just on the title screen and/or singleplayer. It is NOT my computer that lags, I get about 80 FPS with all settings turned up and preformance on "Balanced". My ISP is Comcast. I am willing to provide any additional information anyone needs to help me.
