Ah, the generic 'bad video card drivers!' excuse. Throw that piece of crap computer away and get a proper one, especially if your outdated piece of junk uses intel graphics cards (Which are the worst on the market for 3D games).

i have this problem too but i have the new mac mini i go onto minecraft click on single player click on a worl and it comes up with the building terrain screen but then it gos to the black dirt background and comes up with error report

Your problem is with Java, go to Java.com and download the latest for OSX, and YES they supply it there now. HD3000 can and has no problems with minecraft, dont even try.
