I started playing minecraft about a month ago using Windows 7. I could join into servers perfectly fine until I updated it to 1.4.2. The screen freezes on 'Logging in' and on the top it says 'not responding' next to minecraft. After a while it says took too long to log in. I don't know if it's because of the update or the java or if it's because of something else... I am really upset that I can't play anymore. My wifi signal strength status is: excellent. I tried re-downloading several times. Should I download a different java? If so what do you recommend? I am currently using 64 bit SE 7u9 i think. Plz HELP!!
