Me and my friend been playing together and I found a really cool server. When he tries to join he gets
"internal excception: java.io.IOException: Bad Packet ID 127 or 96 or 66" the list goes on.
I contacted the server admin and he claims it is a problem with the client but I have no idea how, He did a complete uninstall and reinstall of both minecraft and java,
even went so far as to trying to use Windows XP instead of 7.
I know it is possible to join the server because I can still play on it but he cannot
I'm really at a loss here and any help would be greatly appreciated.
ever since the transition from 1.3 to 1.4 the server's stability has gone down to crap. lagging and crashing, wondering if it is due to incompatible plugins
