okay, so this is now the 3rd post i have had to make. This one is going to be full of what i know, in better helping you answer this.

Problem: I cant connect to any multiplayer servers. It says the following "End of stream" or "Took too long to connect"

Info: when i connect, it takes about 2 minutes, and it freezes my screen until it gives me the error.

I have reset my connection, restarted Pc, redownloaded MC, re installed java.

this problem has been happening for 3 weeks

AND!

i cant connect on this pc, but on a wireless pc e have on the same router, it can connect.

Also how much ping do you have with the server?

Its not an error. I just click connect, it "freezez" i cant click anyhting, and then after about 2 minutes it eiter says End of stream or it says took too long to connect And idk what or how to do that.?

The server host will see "Disconnect.EndOfStream" or "Disconnect.GenericReason"

Can you tell me how much ping you have with the server (Hold on the connection bar)

Okay so for the "ping" it doesnt load it for ANY of the servers in my list. they juts keep being blue, and for connecting, i click join server and it freezes at my server list for a good minute, then it goes to logging in, yet i cant click cancel and it just stays like that until it either says end of stream or i close it. AND i can connect on the other pc in my house thats wirelessly on our connection this pc is hard wired in.

well, i "disabled firewalls" in control panel what else should i do?

If not :

Open CMD.exe
typ ping [The server IP here]
Right mouse click on the CMD > Select
Now select the text it made and post it here inside a spoiler

well, i have avast, i will look into it now, i pinged 2 servers, and they both said Request timed out. We have a VERY strong internet connection, and i have reset my connection multiple times.

okay so with avast i have NO CLUE how the hell im supposed ot work this lmao. So i have the main screen how do i unblock java/javaw?

Then something is blocking your connection, if it isn't Avast you might want to call your Router company and let them check your Router.

ALSO, i used to play runescape, so i just rebooted it and can connect to any servers. so i have no damn clue what to do, and remember about the other pc connecting. so its just this 1 pc.
