So here is my problem, EVERY SINGLE MULTIPLAYER SERVER i try to join, has a latency of 700+ and all the players on my screen will halt movement, then speed up to catch the right spot they are suppose to be in.
I can ping the server through command prompt and get around a 100ms ping with no packet loss, yet that same server will lag and have 800+ ping on the multiplayer servers screen with 1-2 green bars
I can take my PC to a friends house and the same servers will have 120'ish ping
Iv tried rebooting router and modem, no change. Also, ALL the pcs in my house has this minecraft latency issue. I have hardlined the pc directly to the modem and even fowarded the minecraft ports in the modems settings..... No antivirus enabled or firewalls
I have litreally done every step i can think of as far as troubleshooting network problems... This is just blowing my mind.
I can play League of legends on two PCs/ have netflix running/ two pandoras running.... and get a latency of 140 in league.... so im pretty sure its not the networks speed..
I attempted calling my ISP's tech support earlier today... that resulted in someone telling me to "turn it off and turn it back on" and me wanting to punch small children....
If anyone has ANY idea of what could be molesting the multiplayer part of minecraft, you will be the greatest person ever.
I read about the 1.3 version with the graphical error on the server polling but im running 1.4.3, and I am in fact getting NETWORK lag. My FPS is well above 60, so im guessings its not hardware related

not really anything we can do about a high ping.
you could try calling your isp and see if they can do something
Thats what im saying though, ive never had issues with high ping on anything... Its JUST minecraft multiplayer.
I called them the other day and they just... didn't know what they were doing
Ive tried 0tx.org/ubercraft/home hosted.... no matter what server i join... it can have 0 people, or 200.... they all have around 600 ping and i get the delay on every server
