Minecraft Forums

Alright, so I've always played minecraft with the launcher, but a few days ago, every time I try to log on it says "cannot connect to minecraft.net". It has nothing to do with the website or servers being down as I've checked and they are up. I am able to play in browser using my account perfectly fine, but with alot of lag which is why i prefer the launcher.

If anyone has any suggestions, they are greatly appreciated. Thank you.
