I have never had a problem with minecraft until the new 1.4.2 update. But now when i try to open the save me and my friend have been playing through LAN, it takes forever and spawns me falling through the void below bedrock. And i fall forever. I don't understand it, and i have tried to replace the data files in my save with new ones from a new map, and that only works for a little bit and then it does the same thing. Can anyone help me solve this issue? I realllly don't want to loose all the work me and my friend put into this save.
Well seeing as the map is on my computer, and i set up the LAN connection, no way to tell. Although when i do get into the save and i'm falling, he can't join. I tried to use mcedit, and i got in the map for a little and after quitting the save became corrupt once more. Before the save becomes corrupt before quitting, most of the map doesn't load. Seems to be huge chunk errors.
