So I was riding along in creative mode, noticing the nether still had some serious lag issues, in search of the whither skeletons when i had the idea do dig above the nether. Dont ask what possessed me to do so, I was just seeing if the effects were the same as when you dig too deep in the overworld. I think I may have found a potential cause of the lag spikes we have..... mushrooms on top of the nether. Now I will be the first to admit the screen shot is from a modded client, but I have seen this both in modded and unmodded clients. I mainly am posting here since I cant seem to locate an official report issues page. What do you guys think?
ty for the link, I will post my findings there to help out. and I am sure the lighting causes a lot of lag too, I am just seeing that there is 1000's of blocks basically being spawned outside the target zone, which may be overtaxing the area even more. I am not a programmer sadly though (working on it) or else I would help out more lol!
