Ever since 1.4.2 clouds have been exhibiting peculiar behaviours in my game. Basically, when you look up through them, you see the sky instead of whatever should actually be there.
Since that probably doesn't make any sense, I've included a screenshot.
That should be wood planks, not sky.
The clouds are fine when looking down through them at stuff below, but everything that the clouds passes through seems to vanish when looking up from below. Turning off clouds obviously fixes this issue, as does switching to fast graphics but I don't really want to do that.
This is working from a fresh Minecraft install, with no mods or texture packs installed.

Retired StaffOptifine will let you turn off clouds, which would be a work around until an official fix is found.
