For a while people have not been able to connect to my LAN servers. It just says "connecting to servers..." forever. I've tried using a clean minecraft.jar, i've re-downloaded minecraft once, which resulted in the death of all of my worlds. Because I didn't save it properly. So anyone have this problem?

um, what are you talking about? I'm talking about local LAN hosted games. People on the same network can't seem to connect to mine.
I thought LAN servers wouldn't work on hamachi unless you did some editing to some files. I'm not sure. i've never gotten LAN to work on hamachi. Hosting Bukkit/Vanilla servers over portforwarding or Hamachi is probably enough for small private servers.

I dare you to move your cursor to the green box on the bottom left of these words, and give it a click. I would give you a diamond, but I've lost it.
Give my channel a view would you? http://www.youtube.com/user/xDelay3d

You don't even need Hamachi to host for the new LAN mode, you just switch it on, forward the port Minecraft chose, then give a friend your external IP rather than the Internal one Minecraft displayed.
Ah, i geddit now. Lol. I can't port forward cause ISP gives me a dynamic ip. and the router and crap like that is set by them, we users can't do anything much to it. Too much trouble ~~ So hamachi works fine on servers.

And by the way, you don't have to be on the same network, I used LAN mode earlier today for hosting a server for friends to connect.
