(Mac computer)
Okay, so I log onto Minecraft this morning and find that, after walking around a bit, that I'm stuck in the middle of my house with nothing in the way, nothing blocking my path, and nothing keeping me in my place. I can look around and break/build blocks. I can also jump by holding in the space bar instead of tapping it while stuck, and pause by holding "esc" instead of tapping it, which I find odd.
I've tried switching controls to almost every combination, installing new java, re-installing minecraft, and have restarted the minecraft client many times. I can get unstuck briefly by hitting the keys "command + tab"(which navigates me away from minecraft client) and then clicking back onto minecraft. This causes me to be able to move normally for a short time, I'll continue doing something, then realize I can't move forward, backward, left, or right.
Some have asked if it's my RAM that is affecting it, but I wouldn't think so as I have about 4GB of RAM on this notebook.
Please, ask questions and I'll answer them if you can figure this out.
Please, give answers and suggestions and I'll try them.
Are you using the default keyboard, or are you using a different one because if you are using a different keyboard you might need new keyboard drivers. I needed new keyboard drivers when I first started using a different keyboard.
I suggest updating your version of LWJGL from here.
This will help any input errors.
Just replace the LWJGL files in ~Library/Application Support/Minecraft/bin with the ones you should've just downloaded.
When I use a newer version of LWJGL I get a flickering screen making the game unplayable.

Replaced the files in the bin folder with new LWJGL files, it didn't change. :/ I also added the extra LWJGL files into the bin folder that weren't already there.

Retired StaffIf your Mac OS X is newer then 10.7.3 you can use java from here: http://www.java.com/...load/manual.jsp
