I just recently upgraded to Windows 8 today. On an off topic note I really like the changes.
Now with my issue. I put Minecraft in my typical folder and ran it like normal. It installed correctly and everything worked (can get in game fine, everything works, no lag) but the Sound is...missing?
What I mean is, the sound of walking on terrain, getting materials, fighting, or falling do not work.
The only sounds I can hear are the breaking of blocks and placing of blocks.
I know the sound's there, and I have tried to delete my resource folder several times, but the results end up the same. Am I missing some driver?
EDIT: It fixed itself.....? Nevermind? Lock please.
If any additional information is needed please let me know and I'll try to get them back to you asap.
