Your drivers look to be nearly up to date. You probably need to get the drivers from HP, but fortunately the dxdiag, doesn't give me enough info to find exactly the right ones for you.
You can head to this page and see if you can find which one of the models of pavilion dv6 you have... http://h20180.www2.h...m&lang=en&cc=us
Might be a sticker on the bottom, that has the full model number..
Anyway, it recent enough that I don't think that is the issue. My next concern is that you are over heating. Does the laptop feel warmer then normal? Do the fans run louder and/or more often?
Do you have the laptop plugged in while playing? Might be the power saver feature messing with you.
thats exactly what is happening to me, my computer actually sent me a thing telling me to watch a video. it sent me to a video showing me how to clean my vents etc so maybe thats whats happening... however i can run skyrim on ultra with perfect smoothness and it doesnt crash so im like wut da ? do u have any suggestions ?
Games like skyrim are different from minecraft, skyrim, and most other games use diretX while minecraft runs off openGL.
Drivers can work perfectly for directx games while not work for openGL games.
ggrrrrr

Retired StaffFirst try finding newer drivers on the HP site.
As I mentioned in the other thread. HP's don't report well to the DxDiag, so I don't know the particular model you have.
You'll need to find yours in the list here: http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Nav?h_pagetype=s-002&h_lang=en&h_cc=us&h_product=3744230&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&cc=us
You can try the tool on the AMD site, but I'm almost certain it'll say that you need drivers from HP.
