Okay so as far as I know, using 64-bit java allows for more than 1 - 1.5 GB RAM Allocation, however, I believe that would also require a 64-bit operating system.
So, is there any way I can allocate more than 1 - 1.5 GB of RAM to minecraft with 32-bit Windows XP?
you can't have a 64 bit software on a 32 bit os, so the only way would be to upgrade your os to 64 bit first32bit os can only work with the limit of 1.4GB
