I have a big problem. The day of the big issue with Amazon servers -don't really know why- I deleted my "minecraft" folder (I'm on Mac OS X). Since then the force update process only generates the "bin" folder and the "lastlogin" thingy and, when trying to login, puts a big black screen of frustation on my face. I've tried getting the content of the folder but unfortunately I don't have any Mac OS X-user friends. Hope you guys can help me .
Just keep trying
Try using force update too so it makes sure to connect.
Distribution of the files isn't allowed so thats the only way to get the files, it maybe just some extra load on the servers due to people suddenly updating
