I've recently encountered a problem where my world turned into a Adventure Mode world when I tried to start up a LAN server. Here's how it happened:
Playing MC offline, and found out I could still open my world to LAN. Had a friend who was also offline (which means we were both "player" in-game), and I was kicked out while he received the message that he could not join. I had set the settings for other players to be Adventure Mode, so something must have happened when the disconnect occurred.
Unfortunately, I didn't turn cheats on when I created the world, so I have no means of changing back to survival in-game. Is there any possible way I can go through the world's save file and change some sort of text document, etc. that can make my world go back to Survival? Any kind of help is appreciated
The program opened, but the world is still in Adventure :/ It even said Creative as the description when I tried that option, but it didn't change.
Thank you for the suggestion though!
