So my problem here is that whenever I open my minecraft, I press login, it goes to the Mojang screen then afterwards goes to a black screen, and freezes. But... I open my task manager to see if it is not responding, and it says "Running". I have force updated, so i know it's not any mods affecting it. I don't know what the problem is. The only thing running after my force update is basiccraft texture pack. I would love to receive the help from you guys.

Ok, Do you have any mods running in the game because the mods might be conflicted. How many mods do you have? Check the version of the mod and also if it uses the latest forge or modloader then you have to get the latest modloader and forge.
For Example:
I'm using a mod called toomanyitems 1.4.2 and it has to get the latest forge which should be a version 1.4.2 so it is compatible.
