0 host a server for myself and a few of my friends. It seems like this problem happend out of no where and I just don't know where to begin on fixing it. I have keep up to date wth all the new releases for the client and the server, and I make sure that everyone else knows about all the updates, so I know that isn't the issue.
Anyways, when I open the MC client and select multiplayer I double click on my server and this is the message I get every time:
Failed to verify username! [internal error java.net.SocketException:Address family not supported by protocol family: connect]
It won't go any further. So, I was wondering if any of you have had this same/similar issue and if so, is there a fix for it?
I am foreced to have a friend run my server for me. The only issue witht that is, he doesn't play it as much as I do, so it crashes a lot and I have to wait for him to get home to fix it. I really miss hosting my own server and I would really like to figure out how to solve this issue.
