In 1.3.2 I get this whenever I open a large chest on a server:

at afe.a(SourceFile:283)
at atc.a(SourceFile:211)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.c(SourceFile:974)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.l(SourceFile:1227)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.J(SourceFile:583)
at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(SourceFile:535)
However, my client is modded, but I experienced this in vanilla as well.
NOTE: afe.class is the BlockChest class, afc is PlayerControllerMP.
You are missing a class in your Minecraft.jar, probably the class that represents the inventory of a large chest. Re-download Minecraft, then re-install your mod(s).
