Hey! I hate asking people for help on this issue but I can't really find a solution anywhere. I have followed mollstam on twitter and I understood the issue on the Amazon servers crashing and I wouldn't be able to login for a while. His last tweet said everything should be running in an hour or so. That was yesterday. How am I supposed to update to 1.4.1 if I can't connect to minecraft.net? I have checked my hosts file under System32/etc and I have pinged minecraft.net (timed out everytime) and traced it (timed out at 15th one) and I need some advice. I have allowed it through my antispyware and firewall and even disabled both but still nothing! HELP ME PLEASE I WANT 1.4 TOMORROW!

If you read my post right it would have read i want to download 1.4.1 tomorrow when it is released. I don't want to download any pre-releases and help.mojang.com says the servers are fine. I need help with that!

where can't you log in? just the website, or the client too?
has your account been migrated?
does it have any errors when you can't log in?

I can't login to the standalone client launcher. Minecraft.net works just fine. I have also migrated my account to mojang.com. There are also no errors just can't connect to minecraft.net

I also have tried playing in the browser and it says Java SE 7 U7 has crashed.

Alright well apparently the update somehow fixed the issue! A mod can gladly lock this topic!
