I am receiving this error and I have an 8 GB RAM with 7.79 GB's free Please help, I can't even play the game and I just bought it (((

what os are you running?
are you sure the os is only using 0.21GB?

Yes, I am using Windows 7 and I have tried to re install Java and Minecraft alot, but it happens every time :/

And I don't have DirectX on my comp :/ but I did check the system information and I do have 7.79 RAM while running minecraft in browser mode

Ok, how are you trying to start minecraft? Using a 3rd party launcher like magic launcher? A batch file?

What are the settings for the launcher/batch file if that is what you are using?

Your system appears to be 32-bit windows and a 32-bit java install, so if you are trying to give minecraft more than around 1.7 gig, it's not going to be able to start it

i see a problem possible problem, the report says 32 bit, 32 bit can't use all the 8GB RAM

Try and install a 64bit os

Both if you want minecraft to be able to use more than around 1.7 gigs of memory. Can't run 64 bit java on a 32 bit operating system

Hey Webrosc, I have installed 64 bit of windows 7 but I am still getting the error and I have been trying to find 64 bit of java but can't seem to find it. Do you happen to have a link for it?
