As the title states, I get in my world, it works fine, but after 10-15 minutes the game freezes. I can't interact with the window at all and have to force quit the application from task manager. I tried all the ways I could to get an error log but I got nothing.
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel(R) Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
4096MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M
all drivers updated
java updated
worked fine until today
yes I tried force updating
then run the game using multimc, this keeps a running log in a console, you will need to uncheck 'Auto close console when the game quits' in settings so the log is still handy on crash
When I launch minecraft using the .bat, it doesn't crash. When I launch it using MultiMC, even with 2GB of ram dedicated to it, it crashes.
This is the log from MultiMC

Something's taking too long! 'root' took aprox 101.874098 ms
Connecting to localhost, 25565
I logged onto my server, logged off to clear a glitch, logged back on and crashed almost instantly.
The game ran for about a total of 5 minutes.
Well that just looks like it was timing out trying to connect to the skins server.
It could just be bad luck/timing, that when you tried multimc the skins server went down.
It could also be your AV/firewall is blocking a MultiMC instance of minecraft from connecting to the skins server.
