Hello all.
I am having an issue i hope someone else might know or have seen before.

just in the last few months I have seen a change in how minecraft looks.
I know its a pixelated game and that is great but for some reason I see a ton of shimmering now
I never seen it like this before so I am hoping this might ring a bell with someone.

I use ATI 6970 with latest drivers and the newest DokuCraft texture pack.

Here is a cropped shot so maybe you can see what im talking about. If you look straight out in front of me and down at the green grass textures.

Thank you for any help you can give. I am somewhat OCD about stuff like this and its driving me nuts!

It does but not quite as bad. It happens with all texture packs I have tried but some more then others and some cant hardly see it at all. It is the worst with Dokucraft for sure.

Edit: Ohh, I think I know what you mean, is it the glint in the distance?

Ya its the shimmering or swimming textures. Its hard to see on a standing still screenshot.
It looks like noise in the screenshot

Ya the waves is part of it but just general noise or pixelation where you see those wavy lines. I know the game is like somewhat but it never used to be that bad so I have something messed up.

Thanks everyone for your help. It is most likely how some texture packs are now for me for whatever reason. With some texture packs I cant really see it at all. Trouble is I dont like those texture packs as much haha.
