I am in a very unfortunate situation in which I have no internet connection at my house. I do, on the other hand, have one at the local library, but they have Groovix which won't allow me to run anything at all.
I have purchased Minecraft and just want to play single player, but I have to download it at least once. DOes anyone know if there is a way to get around this? Can I download the needed files somewhere? I did buy the game. My username is Slinky_2.
If you can play in-browser at the library, you can download and then transfer the .minecraft folder at %appdata%/.minecraft to a thumb-drive and paste it back to the appropriate location on your home computer.

Help is appreciated.
