Ok, so when i attempt to login through the minecraft launcher, it says "logging in" then goes to a black screen and closes with no error message or anything. When i try to play in browser, Java loads then it freezes on a white screen, i have tries to re download minecraft numerous times but it still close when it finishes downloading, and half the .minecraft files aren't downloaded either, Please help, I have been looking for the solution to this for a long time!

me too dude, idk why but can someone spit out a logic explanation for this problem? this just happened to me today and i dont know why, yesterday worked just fine.

Yer, i think it had something to do with me swapping around my video/graphics card, and even once i had the drivers up to date, it still did the same thing

It seems to be related to your graphics driver.

Try using these driver here. http://support.amd.c...13&lang=English

There could also be a problem with ati/amd drivers and the new java 7.9 (which I see you have)
Try the drivers above first, if you still have issues, you'll need to either wait for AMD to make the required changes to work with the new java, or roll back to java 7.7.

Ok, so i have already tried that driver before, and installed it but it did not make a difference. So i unistalled java and reinstalled that update, which was succsefull and when i went to launch minecraft i got this message:

That usually happens when something went wrong with the java install, or there was something left over from an older version.

Yer, i tried all solutions but i just keep hitting dead ends, im gonna send the error to java, and if worse comes to worse jus get a new video card, im due for one anyway, Thanks for the help and quick reply's
