Now, the client literally will not open. the .exe wont budge when i double click it, i've shut down my computer and turned it back on, i've tried other accounts on my computer i've updated java to the most recent, i've updated my video driver someone recomend i run it from the .jar in the bin folder and i got this error..
When I try to open the .exe file, it just runs the loading icon on my mouse and then stops and doesn't open. I've redownloaded java and minecraft and it still doesn't seem to be working.
If the exe isn't working, it's likely that your anti-virus, is stopping it from running.
Try editing the permissions in your AV to allow Minecraft.exe as well as java to run.
You can also try using an alternate launcher, such as MultiMC.
There are some videos in the MultiMC thread that explain how to use it.
