Retired StaffOr we can waste a bunch of time telling you to try things you may have already tried.
-No luck with making a new .minecraft folder or minecraft.jar
-I downloaded this sound thingy required to make sound work for MC, but I dont remember its name
-Cant download a new Java because my computer is outdated.
-All other sound is fine
-Nothing is plugged in that would stop the sound.
-Sound preferences fine
-Sound slider in MC will go up, but still no sound.
