So do I have to use multimc to load minecraft? I have the exact same problems as the first post

I downloaded MulitMC and whenever i place it ANYWHERE, it says something alon the lines of " MulitMC has been placed in 'file/file/file/etc.' This would break Minecraft. Please move it." and it wont let me place it anywhere, in any file. anyone please help?? F.Y.I., it works on different users on my computer.

Maybe put it in your C drive then shortcut it to the desktop? :/ no idea lol

I have a problem as well. Whenever I use multimc, after about 5 mins it freezes then I have to end it. No idea, with or without mods. Any suggestions?

Are you an administrator on the computer?

Well, ill see if I can get it to work as admin. But it works on my admin acct but not on my normal one. Ill try that out

Well, i tried and i'm an administrator now. its not starting normally. ill try MulitMC again but if that doesn't work, i don't have any ideas as to how i'm gonna fix this. But, all i know is I didnt pay $30 for nothing.

This is happening with me to. I tryed the same things, I have 5 bars of internet.
I used my BigPond Internet stick and it didnt work.
I'm not sure if its my internet being full of data for the month but I have tryed LOTS of things.

I have updated java, talked to minecraft support, None of it works.
I have been having then problem for 2 weeks now, Minecraft is going mental.
Could someone help us?

If you have not fixed this yet go to the minecraft.net and login and play from browser. That helped me. I had the same problems as you ares.

I have the same problem (like now) but usually starts working again after an hour. Right now, the minecraft doesnt have any problems so i don't know how to fix it. It's sometimes annoying for me, and even mine's internet connection is fine....
