Cannot download Minecraft on a Mac?Say's damaged

I bought Minecraft with a card at a store. Entered pin and it won't download. It says file is damaged after I move to Applications. Anyone know what I am doing wrong. Trying to download to a Laptop. Ok on the desktop!
