Hi, i Just got a new mac. and i am trying to find my .minecraft folder!!!
i have tried: /library/application support/
but its not there! why isnt it there?
and, me and my dad, bought Minecon tickets the first day they where selling them. but we never got any mail. but on the sight where we paid it said: ERROR could not finish payment. but when we later on came to the minecon sight it said: Sucsess!
i would be very happy if i got a anwer for both of the questions!

You have to go to Library > Application Support > Minecraft
If you can't find it, you did something wrong.
Or just spotlight search it.
