I am sorry. I am rather frustrated with minecraft at this point. I just bought minecraft and I have spent the past hour and a half trying to make it work. It won't even get past loading screen, won't update. All I can do is log in. That is it. I have the fully updated Java script. I tried various other methods that did not work (Mainly because they require ACTUALLY HAVING FILES!!!!!) which apparently minecraft doesn't download the oh EVERYTHING WITH THE GAME!!! Please explain why I do not have anything related to minecraft on my computer, why I cannot access the zipped file at all, and why I can't even play a game I spent thirty ing dollars on. Thank you ^-^ Oh and this is for the people who own this stupid game, since they have no actual help site or help tickets, ya know any way to actually help the consumer.
ive also had this problem? have no idea what to do, im thinking of wiping my computer, doing this is proably an ultimatium, but this has cost me a lot of stress.......
Run FriedZombies error tester that he posted a link to above and post the report here.
Can anyone tell me what this means, or how I can fix it. I have been trying to fix my minecraft for monthes now and just stumbled across this... I downloaded Thefriedzombie's batch test and this is what I come up with. Also my screen looks like this:

This log looks really strange. Are you using a cracked client or a payed account? The reason I ask is the tester should have ran a login to minecraft.net if it couldn't find an install.
Right. i checked out that location and it doesn't exist. I got as far as C:\Users\Minecraft\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft but all .minecraft contains is an empty bin folder.
What is a "cracked client"? I am not useing a paid acount (thank goodness) I downloaded it from the minecraft site and then opened it up, logged in with my mojang account and tried to just try the demo before I bought it. That's when this happened. It crashed half way through loading the first time and now it only gets to that same point when loading and then freezes up.
I also can't login and play online either, if that helps at all. It gets stuck looking for a jar file.
ok so i think i found the answer every1 has been looking 4 i also just bought minecraft and this was a frustrating experience 4 me of so #1 if ur u already tried it on minecraft.net and it didnt load that means u probably cant use minecraft.net but what u can do is download it now im not exactly sure which 1 i downloaded or anything so umm just download anything that says minecraft lol. then go to downloads now whiever minecraft u downloaded remember whatever little icon it has. So when ur at downloads find minecraft and double click. Then it will open it will ask where u want 2 save it i made a new folder. When u open it and login it will not work, what u must do is type in ur info then b4 u press login press options click force open or something like then click login after that u shold b able to play oh and if it goes really slow theres o video on youtube for that. I hope i helped = D
I bought minecraft whyen i first had it it worked great so i thought i get some mods like optifine & Hexxit ect. and it worked for a month but now it wont even open the launching screen I deleted the game and downloaded it back but nothing
