I am playing singleplayer and occasionaly after a while the game will start having latency. I can usualy relog and the latency will go away.
But that's not really a problem. What seems to be happening is the game will lock up.
I can't seem to place or destroy blocks, mobs wont do anything either. If I relog it will take forever to start and only load a few chunks near me. I have 100 fps but it wont load or do anything as I can only move around. I am thinking the server side of things is having a spaz attack or something... It does eventualy slow down as I am trying to get a distance between me and my home though as the chunks seem to take more then 3 minutes to load.
There is another version of this problem. Basicaly other times this happens my framerate hits 0. It seems to twitch every 2 seconds with about 2 sconds of slow motion. But if I relog it slowly returns to lag and doesn't save my location.
The only way to fix either of them is to get as far away from my home as possible. I do this and all of a sudden *poof* everything fixed, although it was a bit buggy for the first few seconds. As in super speed zombies, eating and everything else. But then it's fixed.
I checked the pie graph. it seems the entities stay at around 20% on the tick. But when this happens Tick takes up a majority of the pie graph all of a sudden, and entities skyrockets.
I can't figure out what could be causing it. I have no redstone contraptions, no mob grinders. Nothing abnormal. Just a house, yet it continualy does this every now and then.
I just can't figure out what it is. But it definately has to do with the server side of singleplayer.
Currently I am stuck in my mine, minecraft will load a few chunks and I am stuck in a small area with 100 fps. If i get near the edge of unloaded chunks it completely freezes untill minecraft isnt responding then closes.
This is only a new problem I have encountered. I put in the snapshots thinking it would be fixed, but it still happens exactly the same.
I have tried java reinstalls and clean minecraft installs. No mods ever.
Here are the specs.
Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU P7350 @ 2.00GHz
8.00 GB of ram
64 bit windows 7 home premium
NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS
Now I know on mojang.com I saw the recommended requirements were 2.6 ghz. But I think I at least am above the minimum.
I will include a save file for you to check out.
It seems to only happen near the home. If you play it, be near the home every now and then. It can happen after coming back from a mining trip and such.
It will confirm if it's my pc or the save file/game
The only problem is it can take hours before anything happens, or it can happen within the first minute of joining the game.
There is also a chunk I can't seem to get to load.
Try going to these cords.

Tell me if theres a blank chunk there. If so, there may be something in that chunk causing this issue. It's strangely close to the origional spawn point.
I blew it up with TNT, that caused the game to do the usual lag out. This means it is more likely that chunk causing this.
Any way to replace this chunk? I just want some land there... Instead of a hole that occasionaly lags the game out.
I wouldn't doubt if the dungeon spawner I didn't destroy in it is causing this I left the thing lit with torches.. You can see the edge of the dungeon on the corner of the missing chunk.
Is this an undiscovered bug maybe? dungeons not destroyed but left lit to bug out?

Now the only thing that slabs are useful for is decoration.
It's a laptop, and I am currently unemployed so I can't upgrade my processor like I would like.
Now the only thing that slabs are useful for is decoration.

I looked down into the empty chunk and guess what I saw.
Spazzing zombies. lots of them.
I think something inside that chunk, like the spawner. Bugged out and ended up in the spawning of too many zombies.
Only problem is, how do I fix it...
