Alright we heard about this a billion times but I have to post this as I have tried everything to no avail.
It happens 30 minutes in and doesn't stop, it freezes for 4 seconds unfreezes for 1 and continues doing that till I restart the client. I reinstalled windows on my computer yesterday, so its as if it were brand new, downloaded windows and driver updates and have java 7 update 7 and it still happens.
Here are my specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition 32 bit
RAM: 3 GB
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3 GHz
Graphics Card: Gforce GT 240
I have two other 64 bit computers, one desktop one laptop and minecraft works fine on them.
Alright so I did that and it hasn't given me a lag spike for an hour, though I don't understand how playing minecraft with less memory allocated would help as my other computers run fine with up to 2GBs allocated. Thanks for the help though!
