I am trying to change the offline player name for different computers in my house so that my friends can play LAN minecraft with me when they come over. I am the only one who has a paid account, so when they join a lan game, the default name is player. Well, there can't be two "players" so the first one logged in gets kicked out. I have heard there is a way to change the name of the offline player specific to a computer but I have never been able to successfully do it myself. Any suggestions? Other then have them buy the game... That would be uneconomical since they can only play at my house since it doesn't work on their computers. Thanks for the help.
