So recently i downloaded minecraft and have been trying to update my client to 1.3.2 and have not been able to connect to the minecraft server getting the error could not connect to minecraft.net, i have scoured the web looking for reasons and im hitting my wits end and need a simple permanent fix to it, from all the data i am seeing it is probably because of one of these two things if not both. 1. i tried using the technic launcher to play with the technic mod but it failed, or 2. its a computer ip to dns issue, the way i see it i need help, please
P.S. i have removed the technic launcher and could normally update fine before i tried using technic
http://help.mojang.com. There for you when you need it. If the Login servers are down then you can't log in using minecraft.exe/.app/.jar
i have been checking constantly and it seems the servers are fine when i last tried, it was last night at 7:45 pm PST and so im starting to believe its a client DNS issue because i was able to update fine through my browser
