Not sure how many others have encountered this problem yet, but I know that I am not the only one.
I am also unsure what version this issue initially arose, but I have only had it happen to me in 1.3.2
Basically, roughly 26,000 chickens randomly spawned in a concentrated location on the map. This of course, is more than the computer can handle, and it causes you to freeze. if you use the teleport command you can escape the laggy brokenness.
here is a video from youtube that someone else posted of the same thing happening to them
has this happened to anyone else?
the problem seems to be temporarily fixable using mcedit and then 'delete enteties' sending all 26000 chickens to their doom.
however, I have noticed that if i return to that specific location they respawn. there appears to be nothing special about the location as far as I can tell.
Is there are more permanent fix? Does anyone know if mojang are onto this problem and planning on fixing it for 1.4?
google searches thus far, this appears to be a fairly in frequent problem, but it is very annoying, and from what I can tell, mojang are unaware of it.. anyone shed some light?
