I'm running a vanilla version of Minecraft on a new (less than a month old) laptop. Earlier this week, I could play just fine. I did attempt to install a server so my kids and I could play using Port Forwarding as well as Hamachi, but I played after that with no issues.
I went to log in to my creative world today and can't get any saved worlds to load. I've uninstalled Minecraft, reversed the port forwarding, uninstalled Hamachi, turned off my firewall, uninstalled McAfee (which was blocking something), deleted my minecraft folder and then replaced the save files, and I still get this error when trying to load my saved files (starting a new world works fine):
Can anyone help, please?

I tried to run as an administrator and I'm getting the same error.
I can start new worlds on single player, but not load saved worlds.
Same here. But the thing is, there IS no session.lock files in my world! all there is are the /stats and /region in the directory. ???
