BLACK SCREEN!

My minecraft comes up with a black, blank screen when i open it. How do i fix this?

Did you install a mod? If you did did you delete the meta-inf folder in the minecraft.jar file? That is a common reason for black screens.

Also, if you have any more problems with your Minecraft client, ask for help in the support section of the forums, thanks

I deleted everything in the minecraft files, the mods and re-downloaded the game. I checked the minecraft file in application support and there wasn't any files or folders in it, how can i get them?
