Please help! First It was all ok, then the server gets a Java error for an internal exception. Sure, but when I relog on 7 different servers, I get the following message:
Failed To Login: Java.io.IOExeption: Server returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL
and for those interested in what the error means.... I have copied and pasted this from the definitions of errors from the W3.org site.
503 Service Unavailable
The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.
Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a
server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish
to simply refuse the connection.
There is now a stuck thread mentioning it, and a server status image in my signature.
You can always check the server statuses yourself by visiting Mojang's help site or xpaw.ru/mcstatus
