I got a new computer recently. I used my user name and verification keys to download Minecraft. I get a message that states: "Minecraft" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
I paid close to $30 for this game for my son and now it won't even download! He tried to play it in the browser but the MAC won't recognize the certificate even after I ask for it to be accepted.
Thanks for the suggestions! Yes it is brand spanking new and didn't have java. I downloaded java and it wouldn't work either! I went to the help option and it suggested changing my privacy settings. I'm a pc users so it took me a bit to figure out where the privacy setting were. Changed them and now everything works!! Thanks so much for the obvious fixes! I totally missed them!
