Ok so first I go to minecraft.net, then I click the download minecraft.exe for windows. After that I save it to my desktop, then I click on minecraft to run it. Is it really as simple as that? Howver, once minecraft comes up, the loading bar goes near the end, then will just stop. I have gone to my bin folder for minecraft, and deleted it, still nothing. I have even forced updated minecraft. When I did check my bin folder, nothing was in it, no folders no nothing. What am I doing wrong.
Your anti-virus might be blocking minecraft from downloading the files. Try disabling your AV for a few minutes while while you launch MC for the first time.
