Hello what is more important when trying to run minecraft with low lag ram or the cpu. I'm about to upgrade something to make it easyer to play what should it be.

You can't really upgrading anything besides the RAM and hard drive in a laptop.

Minecraft needs about 512mb of RAM.
Your operating system, background programs, etc. take about 1-2GB.

You should have plenty of RAM free at any one time.

So I have a desktop but it is very old would upgradinng it be worth it. I think it has crap on its stats its a ACER from 2005.
